Halifax bulky pickup allows one item per garbage day (two for small multi-unit buildings) up to 200 kilograms and eight feet long. Set items out after 7 p.m. and by 7 a.m., and schedule free CFC removal before putting out refrigerant appliances.

Limits

Fees: Curbside bulky pickup is included in regular service. CFC removal for eligible appliances is free. Otter Lake drop-off charges $13.04 per 100 kilograms (plus tax) with a $5 minimum for loads under 100 kilograms.
