St. Catharines residents schedule Niagara Region large item pickup at least two business days ahead. Set out up to four bulky items by 7 a.m. on garbage day and bring appliances or metal items to a Regional depot.

Limits

Book up to four large items per collection. Houses and buildings with two to six units are eligible. Items are not collected if placed before 5:00 p.m. the night prior.

Fees: Large item pickup is included. Niagara Region drop-off depots charge minimum and per-tonne fees and surcharges for select items such as appliances with refrigerants or mattresses.
