Pittsburgh bulk pickup: set out up to two bulky items with your regular trash day, 6 p.m.-6 a.m. Bundles must stay under 35 lb (carpet or fencing tied 5 ft or less). Not accepted curbside: TVs or computers, Freon appliances, tires, hazardous or construction debris. Holiday weeks slide one day.

Limits

Set out no more than two bulky items per week within the 6:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. window. Keep containers 35 gallons or less, bags and bundles 35 lb or less, and tie carpet or fencing bundles under 5 ft. Remove containers by 10:00 p.m. and do not place prohibited items at the curb.

Fees: No fee for up to two bulky items per week. Excessive Bulky Waste Collection is billed at $173 for the first hour and $54 for each additional hour (2025 fee schedule).
