Memphis bulk trash (Outside the Cart) is collected twice a month. Limit piles to 10 cu yd, keep within 3 ft of the street, and follow limb rules (≀5 ft, ≀13 in). Accepted: furniture, mattresses, appliances (doors removed or taped), extra yard debris, limited tires. Not accepted: construction debris (including carpet), hazardous waste, contractor yard waste. Report issues via 311.

Limits

Limit Outside the Cart piles to 10 cubic yards, keep within 3 ft of the street, clear of obstacles, and ensure tree limbs are 5 ft or shorter and 13 in diameter or less.

Fees: No additional fee for eligible Outside the Cart collection (included in the monthly Solid Waste fee). Solid Waste customers may use Convenience Centers (Fri-Sun, 9 a.m.-3 p.m.) and one landfill trip per month at no charge.
